Honeyed toasted muesli served with burnt honey

Ingredients
1000 ml
oats
180 ml
sunflower seeds
2 tbsp
sesame seeds
180 ml
almonds, slivered
650 ml
bran
180 ml
desiccated coconut
250 ml
honey
4 tbsp
oil
5 tbsp
raisins, seedless
8 g
apricots, chopped
125 ml
Burnt honey: honey
3 tbsp
water
Method:
Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. Combine oats, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, almonds, bran and coconut in a bowl. Heat honey and oil together in a saucepan, and pour it over the dry ingredients. Mix well and spread out on a baking tray. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss in the raisins and apricots. Store in an airtight container.
Burnt honey:
Place the honey in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil. Cook until it becomes reduced and dark brown. Remove the pan from the heat and add the water. If it stands, it will harden, so stir in a little more water until it is pourable. Let it cool before use. Serve muesli with roasted fruit, yoghurt and a drizzle of burnt honey.
