small wholewheat pits (sliced with pocket)
rama (if desired)
Fillings:
grilled chicken (diced)
mince (sauted)
cheese (grated)
lettuce (shredded)
avo (mashed)
carrots (julienne)
gerkins (julienne)
cottage cheese
onion (minced)
salsa
or any other kind of filling you like
Cut the pocket in the mini pitas, you can spread some Rama on the inside of the pita if you want. Individually pack any or all of the fillings, (those little plastic sauce takeaway containers work well. Pack the pitas, fillings, a plastic spoon and a napkin. You can create your own pitas on the fly at lunch time and it is healthy. It also works well with children who are picky eaters because they are 'making' their own lunch. - Diane
