1 x 410g fruit cocktail
2 eggs
10ml bicarb
500ml self raising flour
375ml sugar
Sauce:
315ml sugar
45ml butter
250ml milk
brandy to taste
Combine all ingredients for the tart into a mixer and mix throughly. Divide mixture into 2 pies dishes and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 180C. Tart is cooked when golden in colour and springy to the touch.
Sauce:
Combine all ingredients for the sauce and bring to boil. Pour over baked tart. Serve with custard or cream. - Gail
