Restaurant Week – The Gourmet Festival

Don't miss out on sampling some delicious dishes during this year's Restaurant Week that forms part of the Gourmet Festival.

This year's event runs from 9-18 May and gives locals and visitors the opportunity to taste some of the finest of the Western Cape's cuisine. Participating restaurants fall into six categories including Contemporary, Foreign and Exotic, Gourmet and Fine Dining, New, Seafood, South African and African. This reflects the diversity of the South African eating experience.

Restaurants taking part are asked to serve a specially designed two-course gourmet lunch at R110 per person, or a three-course gourmet dinner at R165 per person. The menus are specially put together to highlight the unique culture and style of each restaurant at a reasonable price.

This is an experience for locals to explore the culinary delights of restaurants right on their doorstep. National and international visitors are able to discover new taste sensations that will keep them coming back for more.
