Sushi and champagne fans are in for a treat with the launch of 'Clicquot Fridays at Willoughby & Co'. Famed for its delicious fresh sushi, Willoughby & Co (V&A Waterfont, Cape Town) have teamed up with leading champagne house Veuve Clicquot to create an exceptional sashimi and champagne pairing, which will now be available every Friday until the end of the year!
The Threesome
The creation of 'Clicquot Fridays at Willougby & Co' saw Veuve Clicquot winemaker, Pierre Casenave, working closely with Willoughby & Co Master Sushi Chef Sam Wong, to develop the 'Willoughby Threesome' - 3 delicious 'limited edition' new-style sashimi dishes. Salmon in a citrus Yuzu and soya dressing, tuna in a spicy garlic and peanut dressing and ceviche with coriander, lime and fresh chilli.
Customers can look forward to enjoying the 'Willoughby Threesome' and glass of Veuve Clicquot for an incredible R149.
