James Bond's SA bubbly

James Bond enjoys a South African bubbly classic in the new book, Carte Blanche.

31 May 2011

You'd have to be dead or not on Twitter (...and definitely not from Cape Town) not to have heard that our favourite super-spy finds himself in Cape Town in the newest James Bond novel, Carte Blanche, by Jeffrey Deaver.

Yes, The Mother City.

And what is The Mother City most well known for? Wine. Yes, our famous winelands.

So it seems fitting that in the final scene of the book he finds himself sipping on none other than Graham Beck's Cuvée Clive - a premium bubbly from the well-known wine estate.

Awesome stuff Cape Town and awesome stuff Graham Beck Wines!
