Ever wanted to show-off... just a little?

Here's how to really show-off when celebrating by basically chopping off the top of a bottle of bubbles!

Watch the video, as Cathy Marston, our wine editor - shows the lovely Jennifer Sanasie in studio, how to do it - and do it, she does. Well done Jen, great work!

The slow-mo towards the end of the video is just brilliant, as it shows just how the cork pops off.

Here are 5 fabulous recipes that will go well with your open bottle of bubbles:

Eggs Benedict with Parma ham - open your bottle for breakfast! Easy video that shows you how to make a cheat's Hollandaise sauce.

Oysters!! Watch How to shuck an oyster by top chef Franck Dangereux. And then watch how to make a lovely vinaigrette for your freshly opened oyster.

Salmon and avo starters - Try this for a great little starter to a meal, paired with your favourite bubbly.

Charcuterie - A tapas board of cured meat and olives - my favourite!

Chocolate - Drool over loads of chocolate recipes and then go and indulge.

Champagne goes with just about anything!

Note: Please take care when you sabrage and do not attempt this when you have small children around or when you have been drinking alcohol.
