We tried each of the nine flavours and here's what we think:
This rich coffee is perfect for anyone who loves nuts in any form, including in their coffee. It has a powerful aroma and a distinct roasted nutty taste. The first impression is that this is a great coffee for dunking your favourite rusks in front of the fireplace.
A delicious coffee with the smooth, creamy taste of Irish Cream. This would go down well after a decadent meal and could even add flavour to baking or desserts. It’s slightly sweet but not too much for someone who doesn’t take sugar in their coffee.
An aromatic delight; the citrus-chocolate combination would appeal to someone with a sweet tooth. It may not be your first choice for coffee in the morning, but it’s perfect for you if you want the chocolate taste without having to eat chocolate at coffee time in the office.
This is a medium strength instant coffee that smells amazing. The aroma is quite potent and smells very sweet, but the flavour is subtle. It's pleasant without sugar but tasted better as more sugar was added. Definitely a dessert time drink that can be enjoyed after a meal.
This flavour has a delicious smell and the coffee is a smooth and creamy drink. I added only a slight bit of sugar to maximise the taste. The taste is reminiscent of an almond liqueur but without the added alcohol. A great drink for any time of the day.
This is a favourite. The aroma of the coffee is heavenly and the taste is perfect. The slightest addition of sugar makes this coffee perfect for mornings. It's not too sweet or bitter and has the perfect combination of nutty hazelnut and cinnamon. Stocking up is in order!
Cinder toffee, or honeycomb toffee plus coffee. Not only do they rhyme, the flavours go hand in hand. It tastes 100% like a fancy drink you'd get in a coffee shop or from a complicated machine. No need for a caramel slice with a cup of this coffee; it's practically in your coffee cup. Minus the calories.
Is it more coffee-ish or more chocolatey? It smells more chocolatey but tastes more coffee-ish. Heavenly rich, mocha chocolatey aromas and flavours compliment eachother perfectly. Double chocolate is the stuff of dreams and combine with coffee, is even better.
A strong smell wafted from the jar after opening it and doubt was in the air. Hot water, frothed milk and a spot of sugar later, and pleasant, spicy suprises abound. Even more flavour than aroma. This may not be everyone's cup of, erm, coffee, but it could become quite addictive. If you've ever lusted after a legendary Starbucks Gingerbread latte, this could hit the spot.
