Graham Knox and French partner Alain Moueix are extremely happy to have found this property, which is why they named it Siyabonga - Zulu for "we give thanks". Deep in the picturesque Doolhof Valley, it offers a rainfall double that of Stellenbosch and Wellington, it has steep slopes facing different directions and the soils are great: a huge pocket of Malmesbury shale and a 30% clay content. Although the farm was 45% red when purchased - mainly old Cinsaut with some Chenin Blanc - Knox boosted that to 70% by planting Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot and Pinotage, along with Viognier and Sémillon.

Clarke's "Excellent ;) Burger are cheesy and the patty is perfect, the chips are perfect too. The cheesy fries are really nice topped with home made tomato sauce and cheese. The pizza sandwich is a good option too......"
