I don't know what Daniel is talking about. We have been to this restaurant twice and are actually returning tonight for my birthday dinner. The service is fantastic and the sushi is superb. They are more than generous with their salmon cuts!! Overall, some of the best sushi I have ever had! can't wait for dinner tonight.

Wonderful ambience.Crispy duck with pancakes delicious; as is the Chicken with cashew nuts.For something different try The Love Boat! Sushi very good as well.Great food at affordable prices served by friendly staff. Highly recommended

Really an insult to an Asian restaurant. The crispy chicken is actually chicken burgers patties cut into strips, the sweet and sour sauce is tomato and sweet chili sauce mixed. Totally rubbish. And the sushi is very badly made. This restaurant is no comparison to Mainland China, Hongs, Mr Minatos, now those are proper asian restaurants. This one aint.

An excellent experience!! Been there on numerous occasions and every time left a happy patron! Will definitely go back there anytime! Best sushi place to eat in Cape Town!!

I have always been the 1st person to RAVE about this place.. until last night... The chefs were smoking in the kitchen! In front of us!!! That is so unhigenic...we ordered sushi takeout, and watched them make it, as we always do.. and the chefs lit up behind the sushi chefs. We left there, smelling like we had been sitting in a smoking room. Absolutly unacceptable.

Never a bad meal - Eastern Fusion is our firm favourite. The staff are very friendly, do not hang around unnecessarily - we've been going there for over 2yrs, and will continue to go. Best sushi in town!

EASTERN FUSION - MELKBOSSTRAND - what a shame is not on your list!! In order for me to post this review I had to choose one. This is a stunning little restuarant on the beachfront. The sushi as well as the rest of the food on the menu is out of this world!! The staff are fantastic and the restaurant is one of the cleanest I have ever had dinner in. WAY TO GO EASTERN FUSION!!

I had my birthday at the Welgelegen branch on the 21st of May and we were a party of around 30 guests. At first the waitress seemed a bit flustered with the large table and my demanding guests, but in the end she did an excellent job and everything ran smoothly with not ONE wrong order. The food was great as always and we ordered everything from sushi to calamari steaks. My guests were very impressed and will definitely return. The manager were very attentive and even assisted the waitress that was rushed of her feet. Thank for a great night, especially to the waitress. Keep up the good work guys.
