On a visit from the UK this restaurant had been recommended by the Daily Telegraph so we decide to give it try. Very happy we did. Food.service ambiance were all excellent. Definitely a return to restaurant

The food was super but the service was disappointing. Our waiter rattled off the extras on the menu, topped up the glasses so quickly we felt we had to speed up the drinking,and heaven forbid! emptied the dregs of the wine into the glass. Surely restaurants of this calibre know better?

Amazing view, good service & incredible food. One of, if not the best restaurant in durban but I have to give it 2 stars for the prices. I went for an unplanned dinner after a day on the beach, the cheapest bottle of rose and shared a salad & 2 starters with my girlfriend.. we were enjoying the vibe & still hungry so asked if we could have a single plate with a small seafood selection - perfect to finish off. I knew the bill was going to be more than i planned but when it arrived at nearly R800 it spoilt the experience. I will go back but wait for a special occasion & watch the prices.

The view is fantastic and the food is adequate. However the prices charged in relation to what you get is unnacceptable. An average MEDIUM sized pizza and ONE nonalchoholic drink will cost you over R100. My advice - grab a takeaway from elsewhere & sit on the beach. The view's as good and you won't feel ripped off.

Bel Punto is definitely a restaurant in a class of its own. The view from the dining area is truly memorable. The service is really good and the food is divine. I am a veg. so to get good food is really hard. The non-veg dishes are also well cooked. However, their desserts are the best. No doubt. We recommend this restaurant for a special night out...

Bel Punto is the best restaurant around Durban area. If you want the best go to Bel Punto their food is worth the prices. Pollo ala diavola cooked in the wood fire oven is to die for.
