hi grant, was at your restaurant for an early dinner yesterday evening, a bit sceptical because of the reviews below, however your team absolutely blew me and my guests away....thin woodfired pizza's and interesting pasta combinations..the food service was prompt and we were looked after well by our waitron. we'll be spreading the word to all of our friends, thank you

Hi Sam The front of house mgmt has changed last year Jan, we have had a very positive year and have been flooded with positive food feedback. Our recipies and kitchen is the same. We are currently upgrading the kitchens and it has lead to an increase in workload for our kitchen staff.In a year I can count the food complaints on one hand. When I recieve two in a week then I am very concerned so trust me if there is a problem we will fix it. I am personally in the kitchen until I am satisfied with the quality and presentation. Please also understand that the financial payment problems embarress and frustrate patrons so there is an exageration here as we are still getting a lot of positive feedback. I have also noticed the quality of the restaurant has declined over the last year or so. Has the management changed?

Hi Sheldon Our Absa card sytem went down on Tuesday - Absa give us 48 hrs and a ref number. Friday night we were up again. The procedure is that we offer a manual docket system ( most customers don't like to use this ), an EFT from our internet banking or to draw cash ( most customers opt for this). I can only apologise for the way in you were handled. It is hugely frustrating for us.We must accept that it shouldhave been handled correctly. Please let me know when you are available to join us for a discounted meal.Your comment on the food is noted and I shall investigate further. We take our food quality very seriously. I used to love Bardellis BUT not any more. The food is average BUT the service is rubbish. Their credit card machine has been on the fritz for weeks. So if you don't have cash don't go there BUT the best is if no one tells you about this issue then the manager will stand with her hands on her hips and tell you where the nearest ATM is!!! No apologies nothing. In our case at the end of the evening our waiter chimes in with "oh did I tell you, you must pay cash". In a time when eating out is a luxury do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. If I could I would rate Bardellis -10/10
