Nigella launching 'fast food' show
by: Food24
Celebrity chef, Nigella Lawson, has been hired by BBC2 to promote a new series, Nigella Express, featuring 'fast' meals.
Nigella Lawson will cook up fabulous fast food and reveal incredible short cuts and brilliant time-saving ideas, in the upcomming Nigella Express.
She will cover every real-life cooking eventuality, from breakfast, lunch and dinner to parties and food on the go. Viewers can hit the kitchen running with these great recipe ideas.
Each episode will be different, with some based around one meal and others around themes ranging from speedy suppers to delivering recipes with a wow factor for when there's no time to slave over a hot stove.
Featuring meals such as Irish cream tiramisu, coconut rice, sweet potato and bacon hash and cheese fondue she confessed: "The recipes aren't particularly healthy."
The new show lauching in autumn could mark a turning point for Lawson. Her television career dipped after her daytime chat show on ITV1 flopped two years ago.
